Cost-Saving Strategies: We Know Exactly Where to Save Costs on Affordable Gastro Packaging

The cost of everything is rising. We hear that everywhere. The truth is that 2/3 of the costs can be reduced by improving internal processes and controlling purchase prices. When was the last time you checked the purchase prices of basic manufacturing raw materials?

According to our surveys, service providers, for example, are not looking for savings in additional services at all. What do we mean by that? For example, pizza places charge a per box fee if you take your pizza to go. The normal price of a box is CZK 10, but the pizzeria doesn't care that it can get a box for CZK 5. It doesn't matter because the customers pay for the box. That's a big mistake. The pizzeria is overlooking another source of income.

Why do pizzerias do this? Unfortunately, we don't know, but the numbers are very clear. They're losing thousands a month and tens of thousands of crowns a year!

Here's an example. Everyone can work out the figures for themselves.

The pizzeria sells 50 take away pizzas a day. Boxes are sold for 10 CZK. If he buys the boxes at a bargain, he makes CZK 5 per box. 5x50 is 250 CZK/day. Every day he makes 250 CZK. Just buy the material well!

If the pizzeria is open every day, then in 30 days x 250 CZK he can make OVER 7500 CZK every month.

Annually he can make AT MOST 90.000 CZK (12x7500). He just buys the boxes well. That's all.

From our point of view, this is definitely a large amount of money. The money can be used for anything. For example, for salaries, energy payments or buying better quality raw materials. 

You can't buy a cheaper box? You certainly can, for example here.

Other cost items can also be handled in this way. Yes, it is more demanding, for example you need to order from more suppliers or deal more actively with stock levels. But the results will soon come. The result is money in the bank or in the cash desk!
